Outstanding chislic (both mutton and beef), medium rare is the best, with fries or tots, friendly staff and patrons, and a great SD bar atmosphere. Highly recommend you give it a try. Little off the beaten path, but worth the journey!
We don’t make it out to Sioux Falls very often but when we do it’s mandatory that we take a trip out to Brandon to Red Rock Bar and Grill. The food is fantastic and people-watching the locals never gets boring. Last time we were out there we went for lunch and dinner.
We made the drive out to The Red Rock Bar and Grill, last night, to try their famous mutton chislic and it did not disappoint! The grilled chislic was cut into small pieces, making them nice and tender (we ordered the cook medium). They were flavored well (though we did add a wee bit of garlic salt, at the table, bc that's how we like our chislic). We also ordered Sriracha dry rub and parmesan garlic wings. The wings were cooked to perfection, crispy but not dry. The Sriracha seasoning was yummy, but I was most impressed that the parmesan garlic wings weren't slapped with some fakey bottled sauce. They were rolled in real garlic butter with real grated parmesan on top (just how we make them at home)! The service was excellent, super friendly and helpful! *Oh, and for you ranch connoisseurs, the ranch was "good ranch"! We will be back!
Outside bands every Wednesday night at bike night. Servers are welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend any night, good food.
